FerroForte is a soluble microgranular formulation of EDDHA chelated Iron. The main characteristic of this product is the presence of the stable ortho-ortho form of the EDDHA chelating agent. Iron chelated with this isomer, once distributed in the soil, is released to the plant for a longer period than is the case with other commonly used chelating agents. Iron deficiency is recognised by the symptoms of yellowing between the "veins" of the leaves; this can be especially noticeable in young shoots. Once these symptoms are observed FerroForte should be applied otherwise continued Iron shortage will lead to stunted growth, smaller leaves and poor fruit. FerroForte prevents and cures iron chlorosis thus stimulating photosynthesis and improving production qualitatively and quantitatively. FerroForte can be used both as a foliar application and in fertigation systems.
